It seems that there is a concurrency issue in the driver : when we run the software in single threaded mode there is no problem, but when we run it as multithreaded, it freezes and the backtrace. We reproduced it using the same graphics card model, driver 31.0.101.2115. Is there any cheapest GPU which will be better than uhd-630 for me (and using swaywm) ? The fanless would be awesome at all. Our UHD Graphics 630 users reported a freeze when starting our software. The point of the topic is that iGPU lacks on playing 4k 60fps videos, while intel_gpu_top shows 100% of load.īesides it I guess, maybe, if I upgrade it to external GPU, a scrolling inside the browser would be very smooth (not sure, just an idea). So I dont't need even a middle range gpu. Hardware acceleration is set by arch wiki and looks good enough.
